Sr. DevOps Engineer

B.Tech/M.Tech

Experience

6+ Years of experience is required

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Familiarity with software release management and deployment (Git, CI/CD)
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Rolling out fixes and upgrades to software, as needed.
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
• Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
• Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications.
• Recommend cloud based services based on customer requirements and implement those
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
• Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project deployment activities with CFT.
• Managing stakeholders and external interfaces.
• Setting up tools and required infrastructure.

Competence Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or computer science field
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in cloud/devops field.
• Sound Knowledge of Azure, AWS, python, terraform etc
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Advanced technical skills.
• Excellent documentation & Communication skills.
